Looking forward to more of these… their network is local but their mission is global.

I hope all the exams are going well. We only got to meet once last week, but we looked at the two issues of concern related to our place, Ilkeston. We discussed the impact of the closure of Stanton and the arrival of Tesco, please see the pre-release resources.
It looks like we will have a full session of lessons next week. There are still a couple of areas I want to cover, so please attend, even if it is just for the afternoon session. It is in your best interests. We still need to consider physical processes and FUGIS.
Alan has also added further pre-release posts, again I would be using these as part of my revision. Post 1, Post 2 and Post 3.

Well done Year 10 on making a great start to the My Place coursework, we are looking at cloning in Ilkeston this year, but many of the support resources from last year will be of use to you. Please email me questions on your sampling and introduction if you need help.
Remember to collect your maps before our fieldwork data collection visit on Wednesday.

I think Photo Soup is a nice little application. You choose a key term, in this case Bangladesh, and it generates a crossword based on the tags associated with Bangladesh photos in Flickr. Sadly embedding messes up the blog template.

Interesting new idea to improve communication on the B.B.C. website, a broadband speed test which then allows contributors to mark their speed on a Google Map, unhappy to say that the speed I pay for it not the one I get.

Thanks to Val and Mr Spence for highlighting this to me. This is similar to what we do in Bangor.
