Nice contributions today, you should now understand the advantages and disadvantages of shopping out of town and on the High Street. It was my aim to look at then the impacts of out of town shopping on the urban-rural fringe and the C.B.D., but we ran out of time due to our discussions. Please read this earlier post on the doughnut effect in preparation for the next lesson.
Terminology is important as a Geographer and I also meant to play this game, but we ran out of time. Let me know how you get on. Also thanks to Pete who sent me his school’s pre-release preparation booklet.
Please make sure any multi-media presentations are complete for Thursday. I will be staying behind tomorrow and Thursday night. Please also remember that any music, video clips etc that you have used must also be emailed to me.
