I returned late last night from my International study visit to Bangladesh, I’m feeling very tired and run down at the moment. I’ve spent a couple of hours uploading pictures from the visit, I still have lots to upload and tag yet. I’m going to blog about the visit over the next couple of weeks, including the lessons I’ve learnt. Click on the image above to view the latest images.

Hi,
Hope you had a great time, the local villages look quite Mauritian a huge leap from the five star hotels. Some great photos. I know how you feel, I’m just back from Scotland (Isle of Skye) yesterday, 12 hour drive.

Thanks Guys, I’m going to blog each day of the visit weekly, because there is just two much to discuss.
Class sizes are interesting, at lower school several classes had over eighty students, at Year 9 the students can choose vocational routes, so the class sizes do become smaller, as a result, so do the academic classes, but sadly there is also a high drop out rate, mainly girls (you know the reasons), working for the family and costs…
Interesting though that most of the students travel six miles a day by foot or bike…
i know how you feel stringy, once when on holiday in spain our car window smashed, and we had to drive all the way back to england with it smashed, i still have the vision in my head of a 7 year old sitting in a car at night driving for hours in freezing cold, on the moterway. Hope your holiday was good though stringy.
