Sorry about the lack of blogging Year Ten and Eleven, I’ve just been up to my eyes with work, as many of you have.
After half-term I promise to get into the usual routine…
My group of Year 11 Geographers should be researching and drafting their coursework, a case study of a flood, over the half-term, ready for writing up in the computers rooms when we return. I’ve now set up a support page on the blog with associated resources and links. I’ll decide the deadline when we return.
I’m sorry that I won’t be able to provide support over the half-term, I shall be in Bangladesh, which is the case-study in our third piece of coursework.
Please remember that work in Year 11 is now worth 50% of your total mark.
Well done on the Coca-Cola work…
Year Ten, get ready to meet Wanda….

I can’t find a diagram of the La Nina effect on the internet, do you know where I could find one??

No, I couldn’t either, if you look under the coping with floods page at the top, you will find a PowerPoint showing the process of how the jet stream was directed, you might then be able to construct you own diagram.
Best wishes
