Saturday is my DVD catch up day, apart from ‘The Lives of Others’, which is excellent and a nice background for those going to Berlin, I purchased this blast from the past ‘Last Place on Earth’, the last hour we’ll use in class, because I think the failings and challenges of Scott’s expedition will inform your coursework nicely. Stars a young Martin Shaw and a younger Hugh Grant, I was nine when this was first released, but it has aged well… produced by Central, remember them?
