I’m looking for some free software that will allow you to produce time lapses.

  3. George Says:

you can use Movie maker, but the movie file needs to be in avi uncompressed i think, sometimes dragging one side of a clip crops the clip, sometimes it speeds it up or slows it down.

I was thinking more along the lines of taking an individual image over a specific time period, I’m sure I found a piece of software to do this…

i see what you mean, a still image over a time laps, you need a decent camra to do this on, i can do it on my cannon 350d SLR, its the camra you need really.

Put a series of images in Powerpoint and set the time on each slide to zero and you get an animation effect…

  8. George Says:

umm, i will consider this a project then, ill try to build a peice of software that will let you do this with a webcam…

Good idea Alan, its the capture of the images automatically which I’m thinking about.
