cool, i like watching the light come on and off in the buildings also the sea looks cool. i could do one when i go somewhere, mabye on holiday.

I’m looking for some free software that will allow you to produce time lapses.

you can use Movie maker, but the movie file needs to be in avi uncompressed i think, sometimes dragging one side of a clip crops the clip, sometimes it speeds it up or slows it down.

I was thinking more along the lines of taking an individual image over a specific time period, I’m sure I found a piece of software to do this…

i see what you mean, a still image over a time laps, you need a decent camra to do this on, i can do it on my cannon 350d SLR, its the camra you need really.

It’s possible with a webcam as well, I just need to find the link.

Put a series of images in Powerpoint and set the time on each slide to zero and you get an animation effect…

umm, what type of webcam do you use, can you give me the make and/or model number… then i can get ist hardware info and build a program that talks in its language…
