Winding down, random thoughts and ouch!

By Tony_Cassidy

Ouch, because this morning I managed to break a tooth on a soft mint, a slight sense of irony there. Not having been to the dentist since a child, I was worried about registering for a new one, but another advantage of living in the inner city is that they seem to welcome you with open arms. Looking forward to the bill tomorrow. :(

Nothing to report on the pilot, as we finished off work on resources and claims, we also touched briefly on the Antarctic treaty.

Had a nice email today from Rachel in New Zealand, she and her husband run RightPlace, a small scale educational publisher for social sciences, asking to use some of my Hurricane Katrina resources. There is a nice free sample of a coastal erosion PowerPoint on their site.

Also had an email from Anne Greaves asking to use the Choose Geog poster on Geography Teaching Today, though I had to admit that it was the work of my ex-student teacher Adam Vaughan. Radical Geography and this Blog are also featured on the G.T.T site.

Finally noticed that LittleMiss from the SLN forum has started a Geography Blog, looking good already.

My tooth hurts…
