Richard Allaway has set up a Flickr geography group for sharing images in the geography classroom, which I was invited to this evening. It will be interesting to see how this develops, particularly now that Ian Murray has suggested that Geography Photos, an excellent resource, will be changing direction due to falling subscriptions. Ian’s photography and knowledge of the use of images in the classroom has been invaluable to me.

Hi Tony,
You are welcome to my photos on Flickr, they are all Geog related, mostly of glaciation in France and Scotland. I have subscribed to the group, but I don’t know if that automatically sends my photos over

Cheers Kenny
I think with this you send over photos to the group that you feel will be useful, perhaps Rich will start a discussion and we’ll see how it develops from there.
I’ll add Oblog tonight to the blogroll, something I have been meaning to do. I read it often but can you comment without a blogger account?
All the best
Tony
