Excellent trip to Berlin, very tired and trying to catch up with a billion bits of work. Today we did another two episodes of Palin, followed by some traditional read and note taking on climate conditions, the problems they will cause potential explorers and how we could overcome them. We also looked briefly at katabatic winds, and who can forget the comments about penguins and the joy that they might bring! Nothing special really.

Tomorrow physical processes, ice sheets, pancakes, grease ice….. I have been working hard on this tonight, hence the short post.

I intend to write up the Berlin visit in installments. Stringy has already done a good job. First will probably be at the weekend, once I have got over marking, meetings and a day out on Thursday. I’ll also do a longer lesson review on Saturday. As a Berlin teaser, what is the image about? One of my best I feel.
